What have we learned from a generation spent implementing mediation in the United States? What lessons and opportunities emerge from our efforts to carry these lessons to other communities throughout the world? Perhaps most important, where do we as a mediation profession see ourselves in this moment and time and what impact can we have on our future. Come listen to one of our profession’s thought leaders reflect on these profoundly important questions and prepare to engage with your Mediation Society colleagues.
About our Presenter:
Bruce Edwards is a mediation industry pioneer and cofounder of JAMS where he recently served as chairman of the board. He has been a full time mediator for over thirty years, including the past six months transitioning temporarily to virtual mediation. Bruce has taught advanced mediation skills to mediators over the past two decades at Pepperdine University and has taught mediators in more than twenty countries. Together with his wife Susan, they have developed the Edwards Mediation Academy, an online platform devoted to providing online skill development through courses in mediation and mediation advocacy.

2020-2021 Mediation Society Board of Directors will be sworn in.
