TMS hosts morning “Roundtables”, brown bag lunch “Society Sessions”, quarterly “Dinners” and other events throughout the year. TMS members are invited to attend these gatherings as presenters, facilitators or attendees to learn about a variety of mediation issues, obtain MCLE credits for qualifying events, and network with peers.
While some TMS-sponsored events are open only to members, TMS encourages mediators who are qualified for, and possibly interested in, TMS membership to attend an event as a guest of a TMS member.
Roundtables start at 7:45 a.m. with a light breakfast, and typically end by 9:00 a.m. Roundtables are free to members and their guests and often provide MCLE credit to members. Most Roundtables are phone accessible, and some are recorded with the permission of the speaker.
Society Sessions are brown bag gatherings that start at noon and end by 1:30 p.m. Society Sessions rotate among East Bay, San Francisco and Marin locations on the first Wednesday of the month. These are free to members and their guests and often provide MCLE credit to members.
Dinners are held three to four times a year in a San Francisco restaurant, including a fall Annual Dinner where officers are installed and the TMS Annual Award is presented. Dinners are open to members and their guests. The Dinners offer a social hour followed by distinguished speakers on current topics of interest to mediation professionals.
Pre-registration is required for all events. Please click on the event title to register.
