“Reframing and Facilitating: One Janitor’s Personal Journey Through the Doors” by Professor Homer LaRue
Homer La Rue is Professor of Law at Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. He directs the ADR curriculum for Howard, including its first ADR Externship for 3rd year students with the World Bank. Professor La Rue earned a Masters in Industrial & Labor Relations and a JD from Cornell, after graduating from Purdue. He was Chair of the Section of Dispute Resolution of the ABA, is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators, and has been a member of its Board of Governors. He is a long-time member of the labor-management roster of arbitrators of the AAA and Federal Mediation Conciliation Service. He was president of the Society of Professionals in Dispute Resolution (SPIDR), now the Association for Conflict Resolution. He is a Fellow in the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers, is a Distinguished Fellow in the International Academy of Mediators, and serves on its Board of Governors.
