THE MEDIATION SOCIETY proudly presents its next dinner meeting on Thursday, November 13, 2003 at 6:00 pm at the World Trade Club, One Ferry Plaza, San Francisco (behind The Ferry Building, formerly Gabbianos). Richard C. Reuben, Reporter for the Uniform Mediation Act, will speak on the “”Lessons I Learned During the UMA Drafting and Implications for California Lawyers.”” Mr. Reuben, an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and a Senior Fellow at the law school’s Center for the Study of Dispute Resolution, has written extensively on issues in mediation and mandatory arbitration. We hope you will be able to join us for a most interesting evening. The cost of this program is $55 per person and members may bring guests.
