The Board of Directors of The Mediation Society is pleased to invite you to the Society’s Fourth Annual Dinner and Installation of Officers to be held on September 18, 2002, at 6:00 pm at The World Trae Club, located at One Ferry Plaza, San Francisco.
Nancy Neal Yeend will be presented with an award for Outstanding Contribution to the Field of Mediation.
Hon. Rebecca Westerfield (Ret.), former judge of the Circuit Court of Jefferson County, Kentucky, and current JAMS mediator and arbitrator, will be speaking on “Mediating from Four Directions”.
Judge Westerfield has extensive mediation experience in a large variety of cases including personal injury, employment, insurance/bad faith, civil rights, elder abuse and real estate. She is noted for her effectiveness in resolving litigation with high emotional content, such as reorganization of closely-held businesses, dissolution of professional practices and serious personal injury claims. She is also an adjunct professor of alternative dispute resolution and trial practice at Golden Gate University School of Law.
The cost is $60 per person, guests are welcome.
